ZAPPOS: SEEING GREEN ON INSTAGRAM
In the wake of a ‘controversy” over the Green candy’s shoe choices, M&Ms temporarily dropped their “spokescandies in early 2023. Zappos stepped in to offer employment to the Green M&M, much to the delight of fans on IG. The post generated over 3 million views, thousands of content interactions and more importantly, helped relaunch the Zappos brand into national conversation right before the 2023 Super Bowl, where M&Ms reinstated the spokescandies live. All’s well that ends well!
